Depression counseling applies both to the long- term depression situations and to a situation of a sudden grief or loss such as death or long-term incarceration. Depression may occur in a severe form, as in major depression, or in a more chronic, mild-to-moderate form, such as persistent depressive disorder.
At One Step at a Time Counseling Services, our team customizes each of our client’s depression treatment plans to identify the best solutions and help them overcome this critical condition. During our depression counseling sessions, we discuss all aspects of our client’s lives, including, but not limited to, housing, employment, and interpersonal relationships. In addition, we offer our clients the option to combine their depression counseling with Christian counseling to incorporate a spiritual aspect as a means to dealing with and overcoming depression.
Our goal with depression counseling is to help our clients decrease or stop any suicidal ideations, improve their sense of self-worth, and take back full ownership and control of their lives.
If you are battling feelings of depression, please contact us today, we want to help.

"All A's on report!!
"They have kept me inspired to take each day as it comes". One Step at a Time Counseling Services were very helpful in taking me to the Secretary of State to renew my license and they assisted me with applying for an apartment; and once approved, assisted me in moving.
I will continue to be greatful for the weekly home visits and for the concern. The organization is very helpful. They have assisted me in moving expenses as well as first month rent and security deposit. They have also been helpful with me in budgeting my money.
